"They say that the suffering you endure when you are younger is a way for you to pay your dues early and make room for better things in the future. Keep at it until you are calloused and bruised. Although you may be hurt and bleeding now, a better day will come. Hard work will never betray you."

The Adventures of aweksakuragi and Si Bisu #2: SkyTrex Adventure Park

Date: 24 February 2013
Time: Tak sure, tapi pagi lah.
Venue: SkyTrex Adventure Park, Taman Botani, Shah Alam.

Sesi adventure kali ini ditaja oleh Encik Azlan of SkyTrex. Hehe. Tengskius banyak2 we loff yuh!!

About the park
SKYTREX Adventure provides an organized outdoor ‘eco-recreational cum educational’ activity which will take the participants from tree to tree via series of aerial obstacles suspended at 3 meters to 22 meters in the air.
The first of its kind in Malaysia, SKYTREX Adventure is a place where you can enjoy jungle trekking from a height never reached before – via the canopy! Test your agility, challenge your fear, walk, crawl, glide and swing through our different challenges in the sky, in total safety while appreciating the wonders of the Malaysian Tropical Rain Forest.
SKYTREX Adventure was built by giving a particular attention to these 4 elements:
RECREATIONAL, SAFETY, EDUCATIONAL, ENVIRONMENT.

I mentioned about this place to Si Bisu and surprisingly he knew about it. Lepas tu macam biasalah, tak pasal2 dia yang excited lebih nak pergi. Wth sungguh perangai dia ni kadang2.

Since this was another plan terancang yang impromptu, maka pagi tu kitaorg gerak ikut suka. Tak budget pun nak gerak pukul berapa, nak sampai pukul berapa, duration to complete the circuits tu semua. Breakfast pun tak. Amik kau lepas tu masing2 menggelupur kelaparan. Yeah we are adventurous like that T_T

Si Bisu macam nak tercekik bila aku bagitau aku nak buat Extreme Challenge punya circuit, sebab dia gayat. Dia ingat nak buat Big Thrill je. I chose to go extreme sebab aku rasa macam tak best kot buat line-zipping/flying fox tapi kaki kau boleh cecah tanah. Lagi tinggi lagi best kan. Lagipun 22m height tu pada aku macam ok kot, tak tinggi sangat tak rendah sangat. Plus you'll be zipping between trees so takdelah se-nerve-wrecking zipping kat kawasan lapang.

Line-zipping tempat macam ni boleh mendatangkan pengsan plis.

Lepas register and isi form, kami kena tunggu participants lain yang walk-in jugak macam kitaorg. Btw kalau korang nak walk-in adalah dinasihatkan untuk call dulu to check, sebab kadang2 they receive big groups. Tau je lah kalau dah ramai2 ni memang macam2 kerenah, so adalah besar kemungkinan untuk korang menunggu lama just to get started.

Orang lain beriya pakai baju sukan lengkap, yang aku pulak macam bimbo sesat dengan jeans, maroon singlet & colorful stripes shirt. Kasut pulak aku belasah pakai boots. Terasa sedikit dipandang serong oleh semua orang haritu. Instructor pun peratiiii je aku waktu briefing haha. Sorry lah uols, I memang tak pakai seluar trek. Dari dulu dok keluar masuk hutan jungle trekking camping bagai memang I pakai jeans sahaja. Lebih selesa dan selamat untuk saya.

The highest point (rasanya lah)

Putting your life on the line, literally. Heh :p

Kami memang tak amik banyak gambar. Tak kuasa lagi malas. Kalau nak tengok lagi banyak gambar sila google ye, jangan jadi pemalas macam saya.

Overall, it was really fun. Cuma lama2 tu aku dah mula rasa boring. Like, hoh zipping lagi? Bila nak habis nihh.. But at the 2nd last point tu aku nervous sikit sebab kena swing from rope to rope. Selama ni aku rasa tangan aku tak kuat, sebab tu tak pasal2 dikuasai rasa takut. Padahal kalau terlepas pegang bukan jatuh terhempas pun, pulley kau attached kat safety line kot. Lagipun ada macam tube decks for you to land on. Bongok tak perangai? -___-". Tapi demi menjaga imej macho aku gagahkan jugak, cuma lepas tu aku gave up. Bukan sebab takut tapi sebab tangan dah sakit.

Oh it is advisable to wear gloves ye. Sebab you'll need to held on to the ropes & cables and whatnot, and with your sweaty palm there is a high chance for your palm to melecet or sakit. You can bring your own (but they need to check it first, to see whether sesuai or not for their activities) or buy from them for RM3 only (but dont expect anything fancy lah ye).

And also wear the shoes with firm non-slip sole. Sebab aku rasa the tube decks adalah sedikit slippery and it also will help a lot while walking on the cable lines.

Of course lah, wajib ambil gambar kaki. Hewhew.
